Pete Sestina is a writer, director and producer of commercials, film, and branded content. Born and raised outside of Boston, he graduated from Syracuse University and now calls Los Angeles home.
Pete has worked with a range of clients including GE, PepsiCo, and Tesla. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Variety, and Creativity magazine, and in 2013 he won a Best Writing Webby for the series PRESIDENTIAL CLIPPINGS. His debut short film, SHINER, screened at multiple Academy Award qualifying film festivals, and his follow-up producing project, RUN FAST, starred Robert Forster and was executive produced by Academy Award winner Alexander Payne. Recently he directed the viral sensation OLD MAN STRENGTH for Thrillist and Smith & Forge, which has over 100 million views and made the Top 20 list for most views within 24 hours of any online video ever made.
Pete is an avid table tennis and Risk player. He always takes North Africa first.
